Tyreek Hill’s Estranged Wife Alleges Abuse in Civil Trial Testimony

Tyreek Hill Wife Testimony Details Civil Trial Claims

Lakeeta Vaccaro Hill, who introduced herself in court as Kia, testified that disputes over a postnuptial agreement became a recurring source of conflict during her marriage to NFL star Tyreek Hill. Her account included allegations of physical violence, threats, damaged belongings and incidents during her pregnancy.

Hill denies the allegations and faces no criminal charges related to them. This is a civil trial, not a criminal prosecution. The testimony described here presents Vaccaro Hill’s allegations, not established findings of abuse or a verdict.

The original courtroom video and the testimony covered in this article are sourced from Law&Crime Trials. The recording includes her examination and defense objections, but it does not include a substantive defense cross-examination. That limitation matters when assessing the account.

A Relationship Built Around Family, Sports and Faith

Vaccaro Hill began by describing her upbringing in Brownwood, Texas. She said she was 30 years old, had a twin sister and two older brothers, and belonged to a close family. Her mother worked as a caregiver for elderly patients and primarily raised the children after her father died when she was in fifth grade.

Sports and education were central to that upbringing. She played basketball and volleyball, ran track and participated in cheerleading. Both brothers played football at the University of Texas, she testified, and one went on to an NFL career with the New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans. She also described an uncle who played for Washington’s NFL franchise.

Her own career plans changed during college. She initially attended Texas State University with an interest in physical therapy, then transferred to the University of Miami and moved into marketing. She testified that she earned her marketing degree in 2019.

Her business experience included a real estate license, an online boutique and a swimwear line. Later, she worked in technology sales, selling software to professionals such as doctors and lawyers, and began developing a software startup.

She said she first met Hill briefly at Miami’s LIV nightclub while attending college. They exchanged contact information, and he pursued a relationship over several years. Having grown up around professional athletes, she said she was initially cautious about dating one.

According to her testimony, they became exclusive in 2019. She traveled between Miami, where she maintained her own residence, and Kansas City to visit him. She described their public Instagram posts as another way they made the relationship official.

An Engagement, a Breakup and a Reconciliation

Vaccaro Hill described a surprise proposal during a July Fourth family gathering at a home near Ocala, Florida. She said their shared faith, small-town backgrounds and emphasis on discipline helped draw them together.

But she testified that the engagement ended after roughly three or four months because of alleged infidelity and a lack of trust. She moved out and returned to Miami, later spending time in Los Angeles with her sister while working in technology sales.

She described a period of separation followed by renewed contact, including a trip to Japan. Although there were happy moments, she said the relationship remained inconsistent. Ultimately, she testified, Hill told her he wanted marriage, loyalty and a family, and she agreed to reconcile.

The November 2023 Marriage and the Financial Agreement Dispute

The couple married at a courthouse in Austin, Texas, on November 8, 2023, Vaccaro Hill testified. She described a simple ceremony involving prayer and vows, with her mother and brother outside the courthouse.

Wedding photographs were presented during her testimony. She identified one image as showing the couple holding her father’s ashes. She said the marriage represented a new beginning after years of dating, separation and reconciliation, and that she understood their vows as a commitment to protect and care for each other.

She testified that they had discussed a prenuptial agreement during their earlier engagement. She said she was receptive to one, but they never completed a detailed review with separate lawyers. According to her account, Hill ultimately decided against a prenup before the wedding and instead emphasized building a marriage like his grandparents’.

After marrying, they returned to a home in Southwest Ranches, Florida. Vaccaro Hill said she gradually put her own work aside to help with Hill’s apparel business, marketing, football camps and sponsorships, while taking on family responsibilities.

She described helping care for his children from prior relationships, estimating that there were approximately nine other children. They visited at different times rather than all living with the couple. She also explained that Hill’s grandparents had raised him and that he referred to them as his parents. Other family members helped with childcare.

She Said She Wanted Discussion, Not an Immediate Signature

Vaccaro Hill testified that a postnuptial agreement came up within the first few months of marriage. Unlike a prenup, which is signed before marriage, a postnuptial agreement is entered into afterward.

In her account, Hill initially said lawyers and others were pushing the issue, while he wanted to keep outside pressure out of their marriage. She said they were briefly aligned on not pursuing the agreement.

Her central distinction was that she was not opposed to signing a postnuptial agreement. She testified that she wanted an adult conversation about its terms, time to understand it and her own legal representation. She said those discussions instead became arguments, with Hill allegedly demanding a signature and threatening divorce.

She described the marriage as alternating between positive periods and episodes of anger approximately every two weeks. That was her characterization of the relationship, not an independently established pattern.

January 10, 2024: Alleged Violence in the Guest House

Vaccaro Hill testified that a fire at the main residence led the couple to move into a one-bedroom guest house on the property. She identified January 10, 2024, as the date of an alleged physical confrontation there over the postnuptial agreement.

She alleged that Hill tried to remove her wedding ring, ripped a necklace from her neck, pushed her onto a bed and placed his hands around her neck. She described approximately 30 minutes of wrestling and yelling, and also alleged that he grabbed and twisted her breasts.

She said the encounter caused pain and left her frightened. According to her testimony, it ended when she went into the bedroom, locked the door and separated herself from him.

A photograph was introduced that she identified as documenting scratches near her neck and upper chest. She testified that she took it that night after noticing the marks while wearing a robe, and that she had not altered the image.

She also said she had recently undergone LASIK surgery and was concerned about crying so soon afterward. A text exchange with her mother dated January 11 was discussed as part of her account of what happened.

Asked why she did not call police that night, Vaccaro Hill said she wanted to preserve the marriage and work through its problems. She testified that her mother was the person she trusted with these concerns, and that after texting her, she largely stopped discussing the incident.

January 21: The Orlando Hotel Allegations and Police Response

Vaccaro Hill next described a trip to Orlando for a seven-on-seven football event. She said the couple drove together and stayed at an AC Hotel.

She testified that Hill returned to the room later in the day, wanted to go out with friends and told her he intended to be unfaithful. At an upstairs bar, she alleged, he repeated those remarks and flirted with other women in front of her. She returned to the room alone, and she said he did not return until the following morning.

By then, she testified, she had packed and was considering flying back to Miami. She said Hill wanted her to attend the football event with him, but she declined because she felt embarrassed and disrespected.

She alleged that the disagreement escalated into another physical encounter. Her account included claims that he:

  • Threw her belongings out of her suitcase.
  • Attempted to remove her wedding ring.
  • Grabbed and twisted her breasts and pushed her onto a bed.
  • Threw her phone and laptop across the room and broke the laptop in half.

A laptop admitted into evidence was presented during the examination. Vaccaro Hill identified it as the computer she alleged Hill had broken.

She testified that she tried to protect her hands and jewelry and eventually screamed loudly so that other people might hear. According to her account, Hill left the room, and she called police because she was afraid he would return.

She estimated that officers arrived about an hour to an hour and a half later. She had packed her belongings and was near the elevator when they arrived. She said officers checked the room and then interviewed her in a conference room.

No Charges Followed the Hotel Incident

Vaccaro Hill testified that nobody was charged following the Orlando incident. She said she told officers she did not want Hill taken to jail, explaining that she was scared, did not want the allegations made public and did not know how to handle the situation.

Text messages with her sister were also discussed. She identified messages from that afternoon in which she described an alleged attack and explained her response to police. Another exchange concerned a trip to Best Buy, where she said she was purchasing a replacement laptop.

Her description of what officers asked her is her recollection. It does not establish that the decision to bring criminal charges rested solely with her.

A Divorce Petition, Another Guest House Dispute and Counseling

The examination also addressed news of a January 2024 divorce petition. Vaccaro Hill testified that her sister sent her a news article about the filing and that she was never served with the petition.

She said she learned about it while sitting beside Hill, who told her he would have it dismissed and attributed the filing to lawyers acting without his authorization. That explanation was presented as what she said Hill told her, not as a verified account of the lawyers’ actions.

Asked about continuing the relationship, she said she wanted to save the marriage. She testified that they discussed therapy and returning to church, and that she believed his apologies.

The Alleged Confrontation Before a Pro Bowl Trip

Vaccaro Hill described another dispute at the Southwest Ranches guest house while the couple was preparing to travel to Orlando for the Pro Bowl. One of Hill’s sons was present, and both families had plans to join them.

She alleged that another argument over the postnuptial agreement led Hill to throw her suitcase outside, pick her up and toss her out of the guest house, then lock her out. She said she landed on her feet.

She also alleged that, during the morning’s arguments and before she was put outside, he pressed a lit marijuana blunt against her lips.

According to her testimony, she called a locksmith after Hill left and regained access to the guest house. She said Hill returned and became angry about the locksmith. Later, while she was in the bathroom and speaking with her mother by phone, she was startled by his return and screamed.

She expressly testified that he did not put his hands on her during that later return. She said her mother then called police, who arrived shortly afterward.

Vaccaro Hill testified that her mother spoke to Hill over speakerphone while officers were there. In her account, he apologized and said he would not repeat the conduct. She also said he told her mother he would not want his own daughter treated that way.

Why She Said Counseling Did Not Reveal the Full Allegations

Vaccaro Hill said she found a marriage counselor through her insurance provider. The couple initially attended sessions together, then moved toward individual therapy.

She acknowledged that she did not fully disclose the alleged abuse to the counselor. She explained that she did not yet trust a therapist they had only met online, was concerned about their high-profile marriage and wanted practical tools to prevent arguments from escalating.

She also testified that she did not want to provoke conflict during the sessions. Her account was that she deliberately kept the discussions at a surface level rather than giving the therapist a complete description.

May 2024: Alleged Car Incidents During Pregnancy

Vaccaro Hill testified about two car incidents in May 2024, when she was pregnant. She said the couple’s daughter was born in November 2024.

May 1: Leaving a Television Filming Event

The first account involved returning from an event associated with W.A.G.s to Riches. Vaccaro Hill described the program as an opportunity to highlight women’s businesses and lives alongside successful partners, and said the event involved filming a scene with couples.

She testified that she was excited afterward but that Hill responded negatively to the possibility of her participation. She said she asked why he disliked it and suggested that drinking might be contributing to his anger.

She alleged that he became angry, cursed at her, pushed her against the car door and told her to get out. According to her account, he stopped the vehicle and threw one of her shoes onto the roadside. She said she had already removed her shoes because she was pregnant and it had been a long night.

When questioned more precisely, she said he pushed her into the door and she then got out of the car. She described feeling stranded around 11 p.m. near a house on Alton Road.

May 15: An Alleged Threat Heard Over Speakerphone

Vaccaro Hill described another car argument on May 15 concerning the postnuptial agreement. She said her mother, who was in Texas, was on speakerphone, although she could not remember who placed the call.

She alleged that Hill threatened to hurt her if she did not leave the vehicle and also threatened to have friends hurt her. She testified that she did not feel safe and got out immediately after the call ended.

The defense disputed the characterization of the alleged statement during this portion of the examination. Counsel also raised an objection concerning her mother’s response, prompting discussion of whether the statement was being offered for its truth or merely to provide context.

July 2024: The Connecticut Hotel Allegation

The final substantive account concerned a July trip to Connecticut for a football camp and a visit to ESPN headquarters. Vaccaro Hill said Hill’s relatives, children and people working on the camp were present, but members of her own family were not.

She testified that Hill wanted her to have hair and makeup done for a television appearance. She said pregnancy-related acne and discomfort made her reluctant to participate, and that she chose instead to remain with the children.

According to her account, Hill became angry and stopped speaking to her. She alleged that the disagreement continued at the hotel and escalated into physical violence.

She testified that he struck toward her stomach while she was pregnant. In her clarification, she said she raised her hands to block the blow and that it made contact with her hands. Her account should not be restated as an unqualified claim that a punch landed directly on her abdomen.

She also alleged that Hill pulled her hair hard enough to remove some of it, threw her phone at her and damaged belongings, including sunglasses, items in her purse and credit cards. She testified that he said he did not want the baby.

Vaccaro Hill described this as the most frightening of the alleged encounters because she was pregnant and felt particularly vulnerable. She said Hill afterward wanted her to join relatives or friends and behave as though nothing had happened.

She testified that she showered, cried and eventually joined the group while remaining quiet. Asked whether she told anyone about that particular incident at the time, she said she did not because she did not know what to do.

The Defense Response and the Limits of This Recording

Hill denies the abuse allegations. A balanced account must also distinguish between defense objections made during this examination and points developed through cross-examination.

The Law&Crime Trials recording covered here ends during Vaccaro Hill’s examination, before a substantive defense cross-examination is presented. It therefore does not supply a basis for attributing specific cross-examination arguments to Hill’s lawyers.

The defense challenges that are present include:

  • Exhibit procedures: Defense counsel sought an opportunity to review material before it was displayed, and the court discussed physical copies and the handling of exhibits.
  • Hearsay and context: Counsel challenged testimony about her mother’s response to an alleged threat, leading to discussion of the purpose for which that statement was offered.
  • Characterization of the alleged threat: The defense disputed how the statement involving friends was described.

The examination also established qualifications that matter to an accurate account: Vaccaro Hill said she did not call police after the January 10 incident, did not want Hill jailed after the Orlando incident, did not fully disclose the alleged conduct in counseling and did not report the Connecticut allegation to others at the time. She offered explanations for those decisions. These answers should not be mislabeled as admissions obtained on defense cross-examination.

As general legal context, civil cases concern civil rights and remedies rather than a criminal determination of guilt. Testimony, exhibits and objections must be evaluated within the full proceedings. This recording contains no verdict and does not resolve the disputed allegations.
